Compliance with Personally Identifiable Information

The following information is provided pursuant to the requirements of  74 O.S. §3106.4 (C) and (D):

What personally identifiable data is being stored?
 
The Regional University System of Oklahoma (“RUSO”) is established by the Oklahoma Constitution to govern six of the state’s universities.  In performance of its duties, RUSO may collect personally identifiable data, which may include certain information regarding employees and members of the Board of Regents of The Regional University System of Oklahoma.  “Personally identifiable data” is defined in §3106.4(D) as: 
               
Information which can identify an individual including, but not limited to, name, birth date, place of birth, mother’s maiden name, biometric records, Social Security number, official state- or government-issued driver license or identification number, alien registration number, government passport number, employer or taxpayer identification number or any other information that is linked or linkable to an individual, such as medical, educational, financial or employment information. 

How is the personally identifiable data stored?
 
This information is shared on RUSO’s secured servers or in secured locations if in paper form.

With whom does RUSO share the personally identifiable data?
 
RUSO shares personally identifiable data only as allowed by law.
