Chuck Perry is a lifelong educator and has served as superintendent of Broken Arrow Public Schools since December 2021 and oversees all operations in a district of more than 20,000 students and over 2,400 staff members. Perry began his teaching career in 1992 in Broken Arrow and continued serving in that capacity until he began his administrative career as an assistant principal at Union High School in 2005. From there, Perry was then named director of athletics for Union Public Schools in 2008 where the athletic department earned 17 state championships during his tenure. He was named Union’s director of secondary education in 2012 before making his way back to Broken Arrow where he was appointed as the assistant superintendent of student services in 2013. During that time, he helped bring the JROTC program to Broken Arrow High School. In January of 2017, he was promoted to associate superintendent to ensure opportunities for student engagement in the areas of fine arts, athletics, and various other co-curricular activities.


Perry has been passionate about providing a style of leadership that is based upon authenticity and relationships in order to build a culture where both students and staff thrive. In October of 2023, Broken Arrow Public Schools passed a $52 million bond issue with an 80% voter approval rate. Perry earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Tulsa in 1991 and earned his Master of Education degree from RUSO member Northeastern State University at the BA campus. As a lifelong Broken Arrow citizen and graduate, he is a product of the district he leads and is proud to serve the community and the school system which has led him to where he is today.
