NSU summer camps planned


Northeastern State University is accepting applications for several educational and fun youth summer camps on its campuses.

Summer Youth Academies are held through the Continuing Education Department on the Tahlequah, Muskogee and Broken Arrow campuses and will begin in June with programs available for children ages 4 and older. A variety of academies are available including Lego, Incredibles, MineCraft, Inventor’s Secrets, Robotics, Science Mysteries, Jurassic Explorer, The Art Around Us, From Trash to Treasure and Advanced MineCraft.

Camps are set for June 11-15, June 18-22 and July 9-13. Registration is $160 per week and includes all materials, snacks, lunch and a T-shirt. Optional early drop-off and late pick-up are available for $25 per week.

Tahlequah Day Camps are set for the week of July 9, for ages 6-10. Day Camp themes include Jewelry Creation, Space and Planets, Harry’s Potions and Spells, Let’s Dance and 3-D Printing. Campers can attend one day for $40 or all five days for $160.
